Our story began back in 2019, when our paths first crossed on a dating app. We exchanged a few messages, followed each other on Instagram, and even exchanged numbers. But somehow, things never went any further. No phone calls, no dates, and no real conversations. Looking back, neither of us can quite explain why. Maybe we were simply at different stages of our lives, or maybe the timing just wasn’t right.

Although we went our separate ways, one little connection remained: Instagram.

Years passed, life happened, and little did we know that God had already written the next chapter of our story.

And believe it or not, Instagram Stories played a pretty important role in bringing us back together. Somewhere along the way, we started liking each other’s stories. A like here, a like there… nothing too serious, or so we thought.

Then one day, Ish came across a familiar face on Hinge.

“Wait a minute… isn’t that the same girl who’s been liking my Instagram stories?”

Of course, he had to shoot his shot. He liked Sonali’s profile, and sure enough, it was a match. Again.

This time, things were different.

About a month later, we finally went on our first date. What started as a connection years earlier had somehow found its way back to us, and this time, everything just fell into place.

Looking back, we often think about how we could have started our love story years ago. But we’ve come to realize that just because two people are meant for each other doesn’t always mean they’re meant to find each other at that very moment.

Sometimes, life has to take you on separate journeys before bringing you together at exactly the right time.

We may have crossed paths in 2019, but God knew when our story was truly meant to begin.

And now, here we are, getting ready to say forever.
